Since being reissued by Dekmantel to much fanfare and getting sampled by Hudson Mohawke on ‘Resistance’, interest in Fatima Yamaha’s ‘What’s A Girl To Do’ is significantly higher than when the track was first released back in 2004. Off the back of this buzz comes a timely edit of the track by Unknown to the Unknown label head DJ Haus. It’s an easy crowdpleaser, one that doesn’t significantly alter the wonderful original but does make it a touch easier for house/garage DJs to slot into their sets.
