Trax Couture return with World Series LP02. All killer no filler on this release opening up with the sub-laden industrial sounds of Akito’s Dalston Dips the equally destructive post-grime masterpiece Sordid Forfeit. The rest of the A-side gets put in the capable hands of Air Max ’97 who turns in 2 totally arresting cuts, especially the pared-down climax of Spoken. The reverse of World Series LP02 is taken up by a pair of hazy analogue jams from Groovestreet and a couple of hyperreal euro-dance joints from Evil Streets. An eclectic but coherent handful of tracks.
