Recondite releases his fourth album after choice releases for Hotflush, Innervisions, and Ghostly. Placid is a calm, introspective, somewhat melancholic take on acid house, ambient dub techno, and electronica. This is stripped back instrumental music for twilight hours. Besides a raft of new tracks, the album also includes a deep album mix of ‘Undulate’ (issued separately as a dancefloor-focused 12”) and ‘Sequenze’, a collaboration with Berlin-based duo Tale of Us.
