Up and coming Brooklyn-based producer Clay Wilson returns to The Bunker’s excellent imprint with his second release Skandha following up his esteemed 2014 debut release. Once again, it’s a highly textured, absorbing affair; first with the title cut which unleashes a perpetuating groove set amidst clattering interference in the back, followed by the Dozzy-esque hypnotism of ‘Catacleptic’. Over on the flip, ‘Feres’ makes interesting use of field recordings and a ghoulish drone without taking aim off the ‘floor, pursued by the dubbier flex of ‘Pict’.
