Bleep Podcast favourite Oli Marlow and his Sonic Router imprint never fail to serve up the fire. This second transmission of hefty beat-science and gauzy synth textures from British producer Fuewa is no different. This is the sequel to a rapturously received EP on Sonic Router in 2013 – Birth Palace, this is Complete Earthworks. Moving in similar off-grid rhythm terrain as label mates My Panda Shall Fly and Torus, Fuewa mangles his percussion track deep in texture and grain, decay and hiss – but somehow manages to keep the vibe neck-snappingly funky.
