U.S Import

Angels Dust are a duo from San Diego, California who write bewitching dream pop songs. Vocalist Flavia has a syrupy singing voice that she deploys texturally, while producer David Lampley colours each of the sparse tracks on the Slow Tapes EP with some dubby FX. There’s some straightforward stuff on here (like ‘Shivers’, a smoky, husky song with an Angelo Badalamenti-esque vibe) as well as some stranger bits and pieces (‘Before You See’ is a deconstructed piece that buries the whole song beneath crashing drums).
