Jimmy Edgar and Machinedrum’s label Ultramajic is having a deviant time with it in 2015. Hot on the heels of Edgar’s own Shine EP, comes a five track brute from Lando (otherwise known as Lando Kal). The producer in question is German, Antaeus Lando Roy whose blistering early solo releases landed on US and European labels Numbers, Hotflush, Rush Hour, Sugarcane Recordings and Still Cold (alongside a smash of remixes). Here, we find him strutting between the high-gloss electro house of the sweat stained ‘Stunts’ (“all I do is workout” forever on repeat) and the abrasive Roland warehouse vibes of ‘Communication’. Much to admire here, for the right DJs.
