Gerd Janson, esteemed DJ and head of sublime house label Running Back, delivers a second edition of his Musik For Autobahns compilation series. The compilation features new, exclusive tracks from some A-list names in the world of dance music (Joy Orbison, Leon Vynehall, Bicep, and Fort Romeau among them), but these aren’t your typical dancefloor slayers. Instead, they’re mellower cuts, ambient-dance tracks that make as much sense in the early hours of the club as they do in headphones, in a living room, or in a car.
