8 track EP on fledgling music label FineGrains showing off the varied talents of Norwegian skweee don Beatbully (founder of dødPop) and Barcelona-based producer Fitzroy North. The remix patrol is in strong voice also, with Scottish grime maker Inkke and Joe Howe (formerly under the Ben Butler and Mousepad) serving up the edits. Befitting of this international, genre-crossing dynamic the sounds are a wild riot of bit-tune Skweee funk, sludgy machine rhythms, MPC freakouts, and in a deviation from the instrumentals we have an alluring synth-pop cameo from Norwegian vocalist Marrianne Stranger – all Electribe shuffle and MicroKorg washes.
