Label boss Ejeca returns to his own Exploris imprint for this limited 12” EP release. It is – without doubt – the producer’s most assured and effective work to date. PH1 sounds like the peak of a set at the peak of a night at one of Europe’s biggest clubs. Airy builds, bass-laden drops and an eyes-down sound that reflects the seasoned approach of the maker. Ascension does a similar job; a deep, spiralling low-jam custom built for moments of self-loss and self-realisation in the midst of a night.
