Dixon Avenue Basement Jams continue to deliver the goods on their sixteenth release, coming from relative newcomer Big Miz. Miz is a Glasgow resident and a founding member of the Offbeat clubnight and collective, taking place in a sweaty city centre basement. The rude ‘n’ raw jack tracks that make up the Midnight Man Handle EP have all the bounce of a classic Dance Mania release, but they sound properly fresh and current, too. The cheeky vocal sampling make the tracks perfect for peak-time party action.
