Michael Hann – founder of UK label Reject & Fade, and a producer under the name Rejections – adopts his Marreck alias for the Yuda EP. While Hann’s past releases have come on labels like Opal Tapes, Tesla Tapes, and J&C Tapes, this one lands on Alien Jams, a record label born out of the NTS Radio show of the same name. There are lulling moments like the rhythmic ambient cut ‘Uco’ and the airy ‘Bagun’, but the weirdest and wildest things on here are when Hann has a go at harsh industrial noise (‘Rama’) or dubby techno (‘Eka’).
