Convex Industries don Jon Convex teams up with DeFeKT to showcase three different takes on dark, brooding techno on the Negative Action EP. The title cut is a pummeling piece of machine stomp, littered with industrial rattles and tweaked out flutters, followed by ‘Sudden Visitor’, which centers on a gloomy stepping beat with swirling drones in the back. Finally, ‘Atlantis’ slows things down to a slow snail-pace, evoking scenes of a submerged, underwater abyss with its dub-laden rumble and respiratory-like clangs.
