John Talabot's Hivern Discs starts a new chapter as an imprint by releasing INIT's spectacular debut full-length. The pair hail from Frankfurt and their sound sits comfortably alongside the celebrated tones of Talabot’s own fin LP. It’s a brand of sodden, trudging house which sits firmly to the left of the mainstream. There are unmistakable influences from the world of psych and krautrock at play on this LP which make it all the more engaging.
