Grime/bassline producer Royal-T follows up his enormous Shotta EP for Butterz with three new remixes. While the original version of ‘Shotta’ was notably vocalled by P Money and Footsie, these are strictly instrumental fares. Keysound Recordings producer Wen leads proceedings with a dark and arty avant-grime dub that clocks in at a huge 11 minutes long. Sub bass torch holders Kahn & Neek keep things equally gritty on their mix, but clearly bear MCs in mind with their 8-bar switches. Finally, T Q D (aka DJ Q and Flava D) turn ‘Limbo’ into a bassline belter, providing a colourful and lively burst of energy.
