Chicago Floatation Device continue to mine the warehouse acid sound on their new 12”, self-released by the London three-piece on their own CFD imprint. ‘Higher’ is a no-nonsense peak time roller, the result of an hours-long studio jam trimmed down to a somewhat more manageable (but still pretty massive) 11 minutes. On the flipside is ‘Untitled 9,’ a comparatively more subdued 808-led Juno jam.
