Coming via Domino, Californian indie rockers Pavement impart with a huge 180g vinyl double park, shining a light on a slew of rare, alternate and live takes. The Secret History Vol 1 focuses on the years 1990-1992, drawing on cuts from not one, but two John Peel sessions including ‘Circa 1762’, ‘Rain Ammunition’ and ‘Drunk With Guns’, amongst others. Also featuring are two versions of the timeless ’92 indie staple ‘Summer Babe’ in addition to 13 cuts stripped from their Brixton gig of the same year.
