Pocket Symphonies is a rather surreal comp of electro acoustic interpretations of the Deutsche Telekom audio ident crossing between classically tinged stringed reworks to flipped dub synth work outs. The tracks on show call to mind everyone from Hecker to Maxence Cyrin and everyone in between. It's a testament to the creativity of all involved that the reworks switch from piano led ballads such as Fugue & Toccata On Hold to the dub techno of Ikon and the post-punk funk of Entertain Premium. Across the four sides of vinyl the sounds displayed range so broadly but all tie together when placed in the context of the LP. Absolutely nuts and utterly essential.
