With the help of their fans who sent on some demos, Seattle’s Further Records have uncovered raw talent: following the full-lengths of longer standing artists such as Strategy, Rrose and Raica in 2015, they present the debut release of young Melbourne producer Mosam Howieson. Spirals suggests Howieson is a minimalist: his atmospheric electronic soundscapes make due with subtle layering, revealing new facets as they progress. With all of them shoving forward around the 100 bpm mark, the release has a very relaxing effect.
