Work Them Records boss Spencer Parker launches his series of “no bullshit” club songs on Rebids. It’s his first release on Radio Slave’s imprint since 2012’s Versions Francaise, and sees him do what he does best: No More Silly Club Songs is pure dancefloor material comprised of straightforward beats between 125 and 130 bpm. As one of the many producers hailing from the UK and now based in Berlin, he couldn’t help adopting a certain roughness to his style, which also made him a welcome guests to the European underground clubs over the years. It was for these sets that Spencer Parker produced the club songs: hard-hitting big room kicks and rolling subs throughout, spiked with piano theme and breakbeat samples (‘3’) or string sequences (‘4’).
