A wicked didgeridoo dancehall cut from Baltimore club-rap MC Rye Rye and West London odd pop producer Bullion. The two artists might seem worlds apart on paper, but they came together thanks to the canny A&R work Dave Maclean, a member of superior indie band Django Django who is releasing the single through his Kick + Clap label. A while back Maclean discovered an old MP3 player with the untagged ‘Keep Up’ instrumental on it (at the time titled ‘Bum Spider’, but appearing on the single today as ‘Did You Read U’), and after a lot of digging around eventually discovered that it was the work of Bullion. After getting permission to release it, Maclean decided to get Rye Rye on board for the topline.
