Parachute come good with the promised club-rooted comp. Fabric Safety Apparatus, Vol. 1. Eight cuts from various producers working within the shadowy confines of basement techno, the EP starts off with a dub shaker from Avatism where low rumbling bass thunders through the track's core while a militant kick drum relentlessly follows, this sets the tone perfectly for the EP as a whole and is swiftly followed by the urgent heart palpitation bleeps of Weight of Truth (Tier One) by Wrong Assessment before South London Ordnance drop a tough Scuba indebted tech-house banger. The second half of the EP ranges from industrial teeth grinders from Ayarcana and MEZE among others while the highlight comes from the sadly recently deceased Max_M whose Slope is an endlessly evolving formation of shifting snares and clucking percussive licks throughout its six minutes.
