Big Dada sign another young and upcoming singer/songwriter /producer with bags of potential, this time in the shape of Colchester born artist, Roseau. A prodigious talent from an early age, Roseau’s homespun electronic variants in heart-breaking pop first found home on Will Evans’ Tape Club Records (the collaborative project, Peter and Kerry). And from this platform her smoky Essex vox landed her cameos on albums from Lapalux and DELS, praise and plays from Bonobo and gigs with Lianne Le Havas, Lucy Rose and Laura Mvula. This debut long-player for Big Dada echoes with inspirations wide and eclectic (Van Morrison, Soul II Soul, Fleetwood Mac, Grizzly Bear and Tune-Yards, apparently) and a special something indefinable, irresistible.
