Earlier in 2015, Auntie Flo and Esa travelled to Cuba to perform and fly the globetrotting flag of Highlife. While out there, they connected with a number of local singers and musicians to work on new material. Flo returned home with a stunning vocal laid down by Eric Eleindro which helped build a framework for the energising, 13-minute, trumpet-led positivity of Die Bailando. Esa also turned in Vitrales and an Afro-influenced mix down of Sabela de Cuba which both capture the versatility and energy of the cultural hotpot. Following on from their visit to Kenya, the traveled talents of Highlife continue to bring home the goods.
