Before we go any further... Essential reissue of one of the dearly departed MF DOOM's most essential releases. Joyous sampling, hyper-creative wordplay and hazy superhero narratives, MF DOOM's calling cards, all in fullest effect. Unlikely hip-hop anthems were formed with tracks like ‘Rapp Snitch Knishes’ and ‘Deep Fried Frenz’, with hall of fame crate-digging tracks ‘One Beer’ making holy grails of the records they sampled (the excellent French band Cortex in this case). Whether it’s a first time listen or a timely revisit, MF DOOM’s almost universal appeal is stronger than ever. It’s never a bad time for Mm..Food.
