Rather than scratching our heads trying to decode the mind behind the music, we’d much rather get stuck into the perplexing afrofuturism at play on cuts like Ahiwo Ahiwo and Enye. This might be what is sounds like if you stood in between two rooms at a club; one being run by Awesome Tapes From Africa and the other being run by Bashmore. It’s a brilliant hybrid to say the least. The beats come to the fore a little more on the - aptly titled - Drum Track to round off 3 cuts that stand alone on the Porridge Bullet shelves.
