Invada Records release four track double B-side EP, the split features two tracks from BEAK> and two from the outfit’s alter-ego <KAEB. For a split release made up of one musical force, the two sides of the coin are incredibly distinctive. The fuzzy stagger of BEAK>’s The Meader sounds nothing like the subdued melancholy of <KAEB’s When We Fall. Similarly, there is a glassy industrial feeling to the electronics at play on Broken Window which totally contrasts the avant-garde spoken word section of There’s No One. As we’ve come to expect from Geoff Barrow’s Invada camp, this is challenging but stimulating material.
