Its evolving ambient synths chords experience new moments of glory in the context of remastering, its intricate bass melody moves so subtly, this amen break roller seems near mythical. And who’d be more suitable for a present day rethink than Demdike Stare given their obsession with jungle's heritage, repeatedly showcased on their Testpressing undertaking: while the duo are toying with the original’s spoken word samples and dark sound imagery, the breakbeat disintegrates in ghostly fashion.
