Minimalism and careful composition come to the fore on this electronic fell-length from Ashworth on Needwant. While a bulk of the sound can be traced back to main-lane club genres, there are elements of scattered field recordings and left-field drum sounds which set the record apart from the status quo. Each track is mix and mastered to give the sounds room to breathe and flourish. Sawdust and Clouded come in as early examples of this but closer Ventricle stands out as a prime product from the Ashworth lab- tightly screwed beats and ethereal synths placed together to build something energising but measured.
