Echovolt boss Ilias Pitsios and Music From Memory’s digging supreme Tako Renyenga present the fourth foray into the world of Greek electronic music via their Into The Light Records label with a breathtaking work of intricate ambience from Dimitris Petsetakis on the Endless LP. The piece is made up of moments of tranquillity, such as the watery, chilling drift of ‘Liquid’, more foreboding drone work on ‘Anxiety (Alternate Version)’ or the similarly lonely, atmospheric expanse of ‘Ierias' Entrance’. However, Petsetakis is also keen to experiment with more ethnic elements, such as the rhythmic metallic twang on ‘Troy War’ and ‘The Prophecy’ - a piece that evokes the drama and intensity of the ancient battle field that is so heavily engrained in his country’s history.
