Cited as a favourite by everyone from Four Tet to Thurston Moore, Holy Mountain is so much more than your average cult classic soundtrack Don Cherry's compositions of a free form blend of sudden strings fake-psych LSDrums rare groove cosmic jazz that (some what like that description) perfectly reflects the unhinged and unforgettable hallucinatory semi-reality of the film itself. There is not really much we can say about this other than it's an unforgettable experience from start to finish and hats off to the the rare record detectives at Finders Keepers for finally bringing it forward for public consumption.
