Peckham label Rhythm Section continue to shape their sound within the realm of sunny house music: next up on the party-come-label are Sydney group Retiree, spreading the happy vibes through their very own version of disco house. The title track combines funky bass parts with sun-sozzled vocals, clearly setting the release in the golden glimmering parts of the world. Their Arthur Russell inspiration becomes apparent throughout, especially on the laid-back pop exploration of 'Heard You're Doing Well', both in form of the mellow singing and the gentle saxophones.
