London house label Meda Fury introduce Tokyo house producer Ryoto Opp: tracing Japan's early 90s house legacy of Soichi Terada, Satoshi Tomie and the Major Force, Ryoto Opp creates very unique spiritual house. ‘Zombie Boogie’ is filled with oriental melodies and thick synth lines, while ‘Fluid’ tones down the intensity, arousing iridescent aquatic soundscapes. ‘Rain Jazz’ fuses two melodies to a dissonant theme. Over the drone of ’Sweet Claim’ and the psychic bass pattern of ‘Ebola Attack', the percussion hits harder again, still dodging any kind of clarity.
