Dutch producer Martyn returns to Berlin's Dolly Dub imprint with his second contribution for the Dolly sub label: Block The Box is all about ambience. Opener 'Done Away' sets the tone with carefully toned down jungle percussion, pushing the focus towards floating string synth pads and an effectively hypnotic bass pattern. 'EF40' takes up the oldschool vibes with sprinkles of 909 and menacing bass, whereas the bass of the title track wobbles away in blissful nostalgia.
