A year on from his untimely passing Hyperdub have dug into the considerable vaults of footwork pioneer DJ Rashad for this essential EP. Fans of Rashad and his Teklife crew know what to expect - shuffling drums, soulful samples and insistent basslines are all present and correct. The EP features collabs with DJ Spinn, Gant-Man, Taso and DJ Manny, and is a fitting tribute to a talent that was lost way too soon. This is an EP that will appeal to hard core fans and newcomers alike, with the playful ‘CCP2’ contrasting the moodier ‘Do Not Fuck’. All proceeds from the EP will go to the late producer’s family.
