Jay Ahern and Stefan Schneider finally turn in their debut album after a slew of moonlit techno tracks that owe a lot of their left-field moodiness to the German capital. This eponymous full-length is a dimly lit reintroduction to their sound. From the minimal build of Point to the polyrhythmic experimentalism of Suspend, the record is brimming with off-centre interpretations of techno sounds. Blending bleep techno and acid with influences from all over the globe, this is a debut that is not to be missed. Much like Factory Floor, the sound is one suited to both scrupulous listening sessions and early-hour escapism.
