Quickly carving a name out as a leading new voice in bass music, London producer Lil Silva follows the Mabel EP - which saw collaborations with vocalist Banks and our first taste of his own vocal prowess on 'Kimmy', with a fourth release on Good Years Recordings. The three track drop has already picked up serious support from UK radio, no doubt due to Lil Silva's ability to merge the ferocity of the UK bass scene with something far more soulful and lucid. Take opener 'Drumatic', which feeds a popping atmospheric intro of blips and bleeps into a shuddering club-ready drop, all the while holding on to the idiosyncratic chatter suggested in its build up. This odd palette of noises and vocal inflections continues throughout, but still it's the bass that dominates, and the speed at which Lil Silva is dropping big new tracks suggests it isn't about to let off any time soon.
