Lifted from his singular and enduringly replayable full-length Claustrophobia, Scuba puts out this release of PCP on his own Hotflush Recordings stable. The cut itself is a standout on the LP- woozy, eyes-down techno that caters to main-room scenarios with weighty kicks and a swarming synth melody. Pop luminary Matthew Dear then dons his Audion alias for an epic 8-minute rework where the track is dismantled and reconstructed as a darker and heavier beast. A great offshoot release from one of the year’s standout albums.
