FTD returns with a heavy-hitting two-tracker from Principe artist Niagara. Following a limited side from Lutto Lento that kicked off Charles Drakeford's FTD imprint he unleashes two killer slices from Niagara taking the global hybrid sound of Principe to new levels. Starting off with the stern bass heavy house cut Mustor with its tight percussion primed to move bodies and minds alike the thick post-punk indebted drums power throughout before guitar licks make a clear road in in a laid back fashion. On the flip side Falcão takes things further down the guitar-rooted house road with spiky chords striking a fine balance up against the rolling house riddims. A killer addition to the Principe-rooted future hybrid bass continuum and a great example of why everyone from Tessela & Surgeon to the Trilogy Tapes & Warp are championing this sound.
