Callum Higgins unleashes the most crucial cut yet on his Sacred Tapes imprint, the debut recordings of his newly minted Maersk project; two harsh noise and junglist diversions from the industrial North. A-Side 'ISO 6346' kicks things off in brutal fashion with a wall of frozen fog and distorted groans from beneath the murk sounding like the desert-shore destruction of Vatican Shadow. Flip the tape for 'ISO 830' whose intro drives Russell Haswell's black metal instrumental demo on E Mego a few years back down a junglist side road with roaring "amens" ripping through the midway until the bitter end, the best release yet from this ever-interesting label.
