New release for the Amsterdam-based label that has released artists including Son.Sine and Gunnar Haslam. Here the Berlin-based newcomer offers up some deep house with a nod towards the Jazz and soundtrack recordings that he also composes. Having released previously on labels like House Café Music and Mojuba, this selection of tracks draws on atmospheric tones and house jazz sonorities that add warmth to the deep bassline. ‘Icaria’ is a laidback dub techno fusion whilst ‘Landscape With the Fall of Icarus’ sounds Burial-esque with its epic, droning dub excursion.
