Just after Actress’ deconstructive take on Wiley’s ‘From The Outside’, it’s Paul Woolford's turn to have a bout at the track from his 2014 album Snakes and Ladders on Big Dada. Very much in the banging style of his Special Request productions, he clears the air from the melodious piano and trance string parts of the original, and instead fits fragments of an old school, hi-hats shuffling breakbeat onto the bass-accentuated speech song, the breaks shifting the focus to the rhythmicality of Wiley’s rap flow.
