JD Twitch’s Optimo Music label release Boot & Tax’s debut album Boot & Tax. The Milanese duo who consist of Claudio Brioschi aka Brioski and Cristian Croce of The Barking Dogs, have already released two EPs Optimo Trax with Acido EP coming out in 2013 and Fusci EP the following year, whilst 2015 saw Boot & Tax release Brace Brace on Meant Records. This first full-length for the duo sees a nice selection of dub-cum-krautrock tracks and features Croce on vocals and Brioschi on guitar. Kicking off with the alluringly dubby ‘Good Fela’ the release morphs into some steady kraftwerk inspired tunes with ‘Red Guitar’ and the vocoder fuelled techno in ‘Dancin’.
