Kevin Palmer - otherwise known as Best Available Technology - lifts the curtain on a second volume of techno experiments for Astro:Dynamics. Despite some of them being produced over 20 years ago, there is a timelessness to the exploratory nature of these lo-fi sketches. When Palmer made these rough cuts, he was worlds away from notoriety. It wasn’t until he found success through Opal Tapes that questions started being raised about previously unheard material. The advantage of that bygone anonymity is the unpolished sound that comes off on this cassette release. Uncut, probing and extremely interesting.
