A lovingly packaged and illustrated vinyl issue of Marco Beltrami's score for Kimberly Peirce's 2013 remake of Brian DePalma's classic vengeful teen shocker, based on the best-selling 1974 debut novel by Stephen King. Regular Wes Craven collaborator Beltrami is a modern master of the big screen suspense soundtrack and his score for Carrie is typically percussive and bold, mirroring the telekinetic violence of the narrative as well as the adolescent sadness and desperate loneliness that underscore the film, from its tense build up, all the way to its spectacularly bloody denouement.
