Having first cropped up in 2011 with Shapes / Textures on Hemlock, Guy Andrews has now turned this double-header in for Hemlock subsidiary imprint Pennyroyal. Despite the misleading titles, these are two rock-solid eyes-down techno bullets ready to solidify Andrews’ status as a tour de force in-waiting. 'Ambient Track' brings through a distorted and breakbeat-inspired techno rattle against a gloomy and unremitting bass. It’s then backed up by 'Experiment 02' where we find Andrews flaunting the kind of minimal exorcism associated with the L.I.E.S. camp.
