Released in 1994, Same As It Ever Was still stands tall as a pillar in the landscape and history of West Coast hip hop. Everlast took a new approach to his flow. His words were crystal clear through the speakers but the raw hardcore velocity of their debut was still very much present. His maniacal style and penchant for troublemaking hooks is on full form on hits like Back From The Dead and Over There Shit. This is a sophomore record that showed a thrilling progression but not a departure. This first ever 20th Anniversary vinyl reissue is celebrated with an Irish Green vinyl pressing honouring the roots of Everlast and the House.
