Italian club night turned label venture Transition Lab deploys a split suite of rugged club provisions on their latest outing Lab Series Vol. 1. Blawan and The Analogue Cop’s satanic love child Parassela takes control of the A-side; leading off first with the abrasive loopy alterations and nagging vocals of ‘Plutoniumdealers’, followed by the rapid workout of ‘08ag12’, balancing hard and soft elements in equal measure. On the other side, label head Lino handcrafts a perpetual groove on ‘Another’ – perfect for keeping the ‘floor together, whereas the drawn out chords and building percussion of Buck’s ‘Gold BD’ is begging to be detonated on the peak time masses.
