A new release for the performance artist and musician Delia Gonzalez. Originally from Miami, the artist moved to New York in the mid-90’s and worked with dance and guerilla theatre groups. First releasing on DFA in 2003 with EL MONTE, this new release for the label derives from a solo show in 2010 at Galleria Fonti in Naples. IN REMEMBRANCE features a selection of piano scores inspired by a Henry Miller text and the spiritual teachings of George Gurdjie. The release features 2 discs, the second being a collection of electronic remixes by live collaborator Bryce Hackford and comes with a DVD featuring the ballet performance set to IN REMEMBERANCE.
