26 year’s since Satoshi Tomile’s debut single ‘Tears’ in which he collaborated with Frankie Knuckles, the house producer releases his second album. The Japanese DJ, often cited as being at the forefront of global house music, has released on labels Strictly Rhythm, Columbia and Sony and has toured with the Japanese composer Ryuichi Sakamoto of Yellow Magic Orchestra, worked with artists like Robert Owens, as well as doing numerous remixes. New Day gains influence from Tomile’s works with jazz and classical piano which is fused with house music making the release rich in diversity.
